Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Paroaria LLC (“we”, “us”) about the Shahed Bird game (“the game”) and this website. By downloading or playing the game, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
1. Playing the game
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to download and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these terms and the rules of the app store you got it from.
2. Fair play
Please don't:
- copy, modify, sell, rent or distribute the game;
- reverse engineer or decompile it, or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows you to;
- use cheats, bots or modified versions of the game, or tamper with its ads, for example by automating taps;
- use the game in a way that breaks the law or harms anyone.
3. Ads and other services
The game shows ads served by Google AdMob and its advertising partners, and uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous gameplay statistics. Advertisers are responsible for their own ads, products, websites and apps. If you tap an ad, the advertiser's terms and policies apply. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
4. Who owns what
The game, including Pip, the alley cats, the artwork, sounds, music and code, and the Shahed Bird name and logo, belongs to Paroaria LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond the license in section 1. The Lilita One and Nunito fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.
5. Your progress
Your progress is saved only on your device. We don't back it up and can't restore it if it's lost. Scores, stars and unlocked birds have no monetary value and can't be exchanged for money.
6. Changes to the game
We may update, change or stop offering the game or any part of it at any time, for example to fix bugs, rebalance the difficulty or follow the law. Some parts, such as ads, need an internet connection.
7. No warranties
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties, express or implied, including that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
8. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Paroaria LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost data or progress, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim about the game is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it (if anything) and US$50.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live.
9. Ending these terms
You can end these terms at any time by deleting the game. We can end your license if you break these terms. Sections 4, 5, 7, 8 and 10 keep applying after the terms end.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW], except where the consumer protection laws of the country where you live give you rights that can't be waived. Those rights still apply.
11. App stores
If you got the game from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Apple and Google aren't responsible for the game or for supporting it; we are.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date at the top, and for significant changes we'll also give notice in the game's release notes or on this website. If you keep playing after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
